Here's a recent photo taken not far from my house in Brockton, MA.  It's taken in infrared and converted to black and white, which is kind of cool to experiment with.  Feel free to comment.

 Here's to the beginning of a new chapter.  After living south of Boston MA for 24 years I am moving back to Albuquerque NM to spend the rest of my retirement. I lived in Albuquerque for 6 years before I traveled east and now I'm going back west.  

 I'm taking my time driving back and will stop to visit family along the way.  I will actually will be spending several weeks in the Omaha NE area before finally heading down to NM.  

 Being of the photography persuasion I'll be using my camera profusely and posting photos along the way.  I'll add some narrative to the blog as well so you get an idea of what I'm up to.  

 Once I get to Albuquerque and find a place to live I'll be continuing this blog with more photos and narratives as I rediscover the beautiful high desert area I will be calling home again.  Landscapes, ruins, old missions, night photos; look for them all.  

 So, I'm leaving here this Saturday morning and driving across New York state, making one stop along the way to visit family.  Look for my 1st road entry there.    Please feel free to keep tabs on me and see where in the world is Albuquerque Al.  Until then, keep it real and keep it in a day.
